PADD Housing Rehabilitation applications are being accepted

The Panhandle Area Development District is accepting applications for housing rehabilitation funds.
PADD has received $100,00 in Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust funds that will go to a minimum of five,owner occupied homes.
The funds would be used to improve the homes safety, and structural problems as well as energy efficiency.
If you apply, you must meet income and location requirements.
The homes must be located within city limits in Scotts Bluff County excluding the City of Scottsbluff, Box Butte County and Morrill County.
An inspection of the home will also be required to determine the level of rehabilitation needed.
Applications will be accepted on a first come, first eligible basis.
If you would like to be considered for the funds, you should contact Panhandle Area Development District at (308) 436-6584 to have an application sent to you.
All applications must be at the PADD office on or before October 31,2009.
Homeowners who have received housing rehab in past programs through PADD are not eligible.
