Smith choses area teens for advisory council

Four area teens will be sharing their thoughts with Congressman Adrian Smith this school year.
Smith's office announced today that Joanna Aguirre and Libby Joekel of Gering and Robert Olson and Kinsey Knaub of Harrisburg will serve on his youth advisory council for the 2009-2010 academic school year.
Smith's youth advisory council is a forum giving students an opportunity to discuss opinions, thoughts and concerns with Congressman Smith about local and federal issues.
The council is open to juniors and seniors who are nominated by their teachers, principals, or guidance counselors.
