Collision with dump truck kills Neb. pickup driver

GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (AP) - Authorities say a pickup driver died in a collision with a dump truck at a rural intersection outside of Grand Island, in Merrick County.
The sheriff's office says 47-year-old Roxy Clark of Grand Island was pronounced dead at the scene Tuesday morning. The dump truck driver, a 33-year-old man from Arkansas, wasn't seriously injured.
Sheriff Anthony McPhillips says corn blocked the view of both drivers. He says should have slowed down as they approached the rural crossroads.
Neither driver was wearing a seat belt.
