Nebraska 16-year-old dies in 1-car crash

MONROE, Neb. (AP) - Services are pending for a Genoa teenager who died after a one-car accident in east-central Nebraska.
Platte County authorities say 16-year-old Rachel Clausen was driving alone Friday when she crashed around 1:45 p.m. in rural Monroe, which is about 12 miles northwest of Columbus. Other details about the accident have not been released.
Clausen was flown by helicopter to Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, where she died Saturday.
