Plane makes an emergency landing in Scottsbluff

A plane with windshield issues made an emergency landing here in Scottsbluff over the weekend.

The United Express flight was on its way to Denver from Rapid City, South Dakota when the plane experienced problems with its windshild.

The plane carrying 37 passagers landed at the Western Nebraska Regional Airport at about 6:30 Saturday evening.

Most of the passengers on board stayed at area hotels and were bussed to Denver Sunday morning.

Airport Manager Darwin Skelton says the windshield is being fixed and the plane should be back in the air by tonight.

None of the passanger were injured in the routine emergency landing.
