David City, Neb., man dies after house fire

DAVID CITY, Neb. (AP) - A 52-year-old man has died after a fire at his eastern Nebraska home.
Butler County Attorney Julie Reiter (WRITE-er) said Monday the fire Sunday claimed the life of Ricky Lord.
She says the David City Volunteer Fire Department responded to a call at Lord's home shortly after 5:30 a.m. Damage was confined to the interior of the two-story house.
Reiter says Lord was pronounced dead at Butler County Health Care Center.
The fire remains under investigation.
