Local woman dies after weekend train accident

An Alliance woman has died following pickup train collision in Box Butte County.
78-year-old Lois Behm died Sunday night from injuries obtained in a accident involving a train.
The Nebraska State Patrol says that Behm and her 82-year-old husband, Don Behm were crossing double tracks on a rural road seven miles east of Alliance Saturday morning.
Their pickup was struck by an eastbound train.
The State Patrol says that Don Behm was driving north and his view of the on-coming train was obscured by a parked train.
Don Behm is currently listed in serious condition at Regional West Medical Center.
