Great Lakes adds flights from the panhandle to Denver

Great Lakes adds flights from the panhandle to Denver

Posted: Updated:

Western Nebraska Regional Airport will soon be seeing some new flights with connectors to and from Alliance.

The airport will be adding two flights a day tied in with Alliance.

Great Lakes Airlines will be adding an 8 AM and a 2 PM flight from Alliance to the flight schedule here in Scottsbluff.

There will also be late night flights from Denver back to the panhandle at 7 PM and 9:30 PM.

One of the late night flights will also drop off passangers here and then overnight in Alliance.

For both airports, the new additions to the schedule will help offer passangers more options when flying to Denver.

"It will give them more options. A lot of times the last flight that comes in at 9:30 is a little bit late so having one that comes in at 7 PM will be helpful in that people wont have to wait so long if they're done with their business they can get back."

In addition to the changes to weekday flights, Great Lakes will also offer additional weekend flights out of Western Nebraska Regional Airport.

If you would like a full schedule of the new flights that will be offered here in the panhandle, you can check out the Great Lakes Airlines website at

The new flights are scheduled to  begin in December.
