Snowy weather in parts of Nebraska

You didn't have to go very far east of the Panhandle today to find wintry weather.
A heavy wet snow was knocking down branches and knocking out power to some parts of southern Nebraska.
400 hundred customers lost power early this morning in Maywood and Curtis.
The interstate around North Platte and Brady was snow covered this morning with about 12 inches of new snow reported southwest of Brady.
A winter weather advisory was in effect today for much of southwest and central Nebraska.
Snow should be gone though for your trip down to Lincoln for the Husker game Saturday.
