KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) - A Kearney man remains in jail after pleading guilty in Buffalo County District Court to five counts of possessing child pornography.
Daniel Ellingson faces five years in prison on each of 5 felony counts.
The 31-year-old was arrested in July after an investigation initiated by the state Attorney General's Office alerted Kearney police to search his home. Police seized a computer that contained images of children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
Ellingson was arrested July 31 and pleaded guilty last week.
Ellington will be sentenced in December. He must register with the state as a convicted sex offender.
