Morrill County addresses are changing, at least the rural variety anyway.
In order to facilitate EMS and 911 calls, the Morrill County Roads Department sent letters to all residents of rural Bayard and Bridgeport telling them that all rural roads would be changing over to a regular address with a county road designation and would no longer be using the rural route box number addresses.
The process, that has taken two years to complete, asks owners to put house numbers on their homes if visible from the road and on their mailboxes if not.
Dale frickey with the Morrill County Roads Department said north/south roads have odd numbers and east/west are even.
