Nance Co. votes to launch development group

FULLERTON, Neb. (AP) - Another county in central Nebraska is launching an economic development group.
The Nance County Board of Supervisors has voted to create the Nance County Development Agency, hiring Mary Los as its part-time director. Los had been working since April as the county's zoning administrator.
County board chairman Dennis Jarecke said he was convinced a county development group would be worth trying after seeing the success of the Fullerton Area Economic Development Corp.
The group's board will include representatives from the county, the cities of Genoa and Fullerton, the village of Belgrade and the economic development groups in Fullerton and Genoa.
