Valley residents were out in full force today to honor the area veterans while enjoying the annual parade.
Scottsbluff's annual Veterans Day parade kicked off this morning with a fly over of four F16 jets from Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado.
Unfortunately the fog was too thick for the jets to be seen, but they were definitely heard.
After the fly over the parade traveled down East Overland and got area residents thinking about veterans and what they've done for the country.
Many area businesses and organizations joined in today's festivities by participating in the parade.
Bands from Scottsbluff and Gering also supported area veterans this morning by marching while playing patriotic songs.
