Neb. man faces prison for shooting gun toward wife

KEARNEY, Neb. (AP) - A central Nebraska man accused of firing a gun toward his wife faces up to five years in prison after pleading no contest to one count of felony terroristic threats.
Randy Miller Jr. of Ravenna confronted his wife as she was gathering some belongings while moving out of their house in August. Miller held a .22-caliber pistol to his head, then pointed it at his wife.
He told his wife to get out of the house, then fired a shot into the wall, about two feet from his wife.
The 27-year-old Miller appeared in Buffalo County District Court this week. He had a count of using a weapon to commit a felony dismissed in exchange for his plea.
