Job creation is a hot topic around the country. Now the U.S. Department of Commerce is stepping up helping the local entrepreneurs in one KOTA Territory town looking to make their businesses thrive.
In Torrington, a team of teachers have been dispatched to foster new ideas, new products and new services to the community through a program called "Intense Innovation". The training seminars help companies become more efficient and more effective in community outreach.
The new national program is growing through local communities like Torrington, where it's partnered with Eastern Wyoming College, offering intensive weekly training seminars to their local entrepreneurs.
"We were invited by the community to come here. We want to make every community we work with an innovation community so that it promotes growth in all aspects of business, training and education," says Adam Johnson a teacher and field engineer with Manufacturing Works.
The four-hour intensive courses can be customized for companies in any city interested in promoting growth, leadership and safety.
