Scottsbluff City Council members explore the possibility of moving back into City Hall, after holding meetings at the library for less than a year.
City Manager Rick Kuckkahn says holding meetings at the library proved to be too inconvenient for both council members and the public.
Kuckkahn says the move back to City Hall will likely cost around $6,000 to install sound proofing in the Chambers, and a table and microphone for the meetings.
"The council is used to coming to City Hall, the public is used to coming to City Hall for City Hall business. So it makes a lot more sense just to leave it here."
Kuckkahn says he expects contractors to complete the necessary changes during the next few months.
