An Oshkosh man is dead after a rollover accident on County Road 58.
A 2009 Ford pickup driven by 34-year-old, Stormy Jessen struck some concrete debris, rolled, then caught fire.
The Nebraska State Patrol say Jessen was not wearing his seatbelt and was ejected.
This is the fifth fatal accident since the first of the year where the victim was not wearing a seat belt.
Lieutenant Lance Rogers says, "We can't stress enough the importance of seatbelts especially this year in 2012 has been especially deadly on the roads." Lt. Rogers says "A lot of those fatalities, people are not wearing their seatbelts so it's very important that people need to buckle up at all times whether the weather is nice or whether it's bad."
In all of 2011, there were only ten accident fatalities in the entire state of Nebraska and zero in our viewing area.
