Police have narrowed the investigation in the double homicide yesterday in Alliance.
Police Chief John Kiss has identified the third subject who was injured at the scene as a person of interest in this case and says the investigation is on-going.
Authorities have not released his name but he is currently in fair condition at Denver Health Medical Center.
The two victims have been identified as 22-year-old, Catalina Chavez who lived at 756 East 8th street and 42-year-old Mike Loutzenhiser of Scottsbluff.
The incident took place Saturday morning around 7:15 a.m.
Officers and Nebraska State Patrol responded and found two individuals dead with apparent stab wounds and a third individual alive, but critically injured.
The community has left posters with messages, candles and flowers at the residence to mourn the loss of Chavez and Loutzenhiser.
