The Nebraska economy is seeing an upward trend in spending and earnings.
A new report released by state tax commissioner, Doug Ewald shows Nebraska netted eight percent more in tax revenue than predicted since January.
Receipts totaled $333 million dollars. That includes sales tax, income taxes and miscellaneous taxes.
The Nebraska Economic Forecasting Advisory Board made its prediction last April for the current fiscal year.
It has since revised that estimate and increased it by nearly $52 million.
