Local workers from many different industries are offered a first hand opportunity to learn about safety solutions.
The Nebraska Safety Council held their "safety connections" round table in Scottsbluff today.
The meeting focused on discussing safety challenges in the workplace.
Companies in attendance were able to address safety issues, corporate practices and share solutions with other business professionals.
Executive Director Laurie Klosterboer says the meetings serve as a great networking opportunity.
"Sometimes people think that their all alone out there trying to do these things, yet when you get people together who have those same responsibilities they find out 'you know what, I'm not alone,;" Klosterboer said.
The safety council holds multiple meetings throughout the year across the region.
