A former Scotts Bluff sheriff who shouted profanities in a Junior high school is fined for disturbing the peace.
Bryon Miller was recently found guilty of the misdemeanor charges.
Prosecutors say Miller was upset over a situation involving one of his children and used foul language inside the school in Gering.
Miller was fined $500 and ordered to pay $220 in court costs.
Miller had been with the sheriff's department for more than a decade before resigning in late August of last year.
