Mardi Gras started early for those at the United Way

A local non-profit celebrated Mardi Gras early while everyone wore masks of disguise.

The United Way of western Nebraska had a full house at their 2nd annual, Masquerade Ball at the Scottsbluff country club.

The evening was full of festive New Orleans style fun with live music, a mask contests, prizes and pictures.

Comedian and ventriloquist...Ian Varella kept the crowd entertained and laughing all night.

The United Way will be accepting funding applications through March 9th.

Panhandle agencies who wish to receive funding can apply on their website
