Early registration for kindergarten starts today and parents may notice a few changes.
Scottsbluff and Gering school districts are working to implement new changes to the kindergarten registration process.
This year parents looking to register their young children need to make sure they meet the new age requirements.
Children who turn 5 after July 31st are required to submit a special application along with taking an advance placement test.
In the past children entering kindergarten needed to turn 5 by October 15th.
Kindergarten registration continues throughout the week until February 24th.
