Employees at a local animal shelter help their furry friends find new homes.
The Panhandle humane society kicks off its annual Feline Frolic adoption event next month.
Any spayed or neutered cats at the shelter can be adopted for just $20.
During the summer months the shelter receives four to five new cats a day.
Executive director Heidi Anderson says they currently have both kittens and older cats available for adoption.
"Cats make wonderful companions, they range in attitudes from very playful to calm. There's a lot you can do with a cat."
The adoption special runs July through August or until all of the cats have found forever homes.
