8-year-old dead after head on collision in Wyoming

An 8-year-old boy is dead after a head-on collision with a pickup truck.

Four people are in the hospital after an accident on Highway 89 in Wyoming near Thayne.

Sergeant Stephen Townsend of the Wyoming Highway Patrol says 24-year-old Jessica Diaz was driving when for some unknown reason, she drifted off the road.

Diaz over corrected causing her car to slide into on-coming traffic and head-on into 66-year-old Joseph Mack's truck.

The child was traveling in Diaz's car.

Sergeant Townsend says everyone was wearing their seatbelts.
