A fire near Springview, Nebraska is finally contained after burning for ten days.
The smoke has cleared in the Fairfield Creek fire leaving more than 104 square miles of scorched land.
Fire fighter spokeswoman Susan Ford says some fire crews will remain on duty today to watch for flare ups.
Ford says although this fire is out fire danger remains high.
At least 14 homes and 17 other buildings were destroyed.
Only three injuries have been reported.
