Trade school is trending and a KOTA Territory school is seeing increased enrollment.
Lots of students are forgoing the traditional college route and diving right into trade schools.
Brandi Butler, Manager at Fullen School of Hair Design in Scottsbluff says their enrolment has been way up this year.
Butler says 10 students just graduated and their August class is already full. "I think you can get an education a lot quicker than going to college, going to like a trade school college like that. Most trade schools teach you what you need to know to get into the career you're wanting to get into."
Butler says trade schools are gaining popularity because they are less expensive, offer more hands on experience and you get to skip all the extra courses.
