Two people are hospitalized after a collision on a busy Scottsbluff highway.
Shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday, emergency personnel responded to an accident at the intersection of Highway 26 and 5th Avenue.
A Chevy pickup driven by 31-year old Kevin Miller was traveling west on the highway, crossing the 5th Avenue intersection.
He struck a KIA Optima driven by 71-year - old Joanna Wallace.
The accident report shows Wallace failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic when she took a left to turn north onto 5th Avenue.
Both were transported to the emergency room at Regional West Medical Center for injuries.
