SB man found guilty of sexually assaulting child

A Scottsbluff man is found guilty of sexually assaulting of an 8 -year - old girl who was sleeping.

A judge found 54 - year - old Daniel Castillo guilty of third -degree sexual assault, after the victim awoke to Castillo doing a sexual act.

Castillo says he was sleeping in the same bed as the girl and accidentally committed the act while dreaming.

Sentencing is set for September 20th in Scotts Bluff County District Court.
