Mitchell man gets 90 days for impersonating a cop

A Mitchell man ends up on the wrong side of the law... After trying to uphold the right side of it.

25-year-old Bobby O'Reilly was sentenced to 90 days in prison on Monday for impersonating a peace officer.

Earlier this summer, O'Reilly was arrested police received a 911 call from a motorist who said O'Reilly was trying to pull people over on I-80 by tailgating them in his car, which had flashing lights.

Police say he also had a security badge, a gun and two cans of mace with him.

O'Reilly is credited with the days he already served... and will also have to pay court costs.
