Panhandle beer and wine enthusiasts sipped and sampled their way through dozens of craft brews and wines.
The 2nd annual Best of the West Beer and Wine Festival in Scottsbluff is all about trying new beers and wines from across the globe.
The Next Young Professionals Group organizes the event, where patrons can sample regional micro brews plus many interesting wines.
Next Young Professionals board member Becky Zwickl says a portion of the proceeds will go to the Downtown Revitalization Fund. "We're a young professionals organization that helps bring about awareness for special needs in our community through civic involvement."
Kelley's Liquor Cabinet owner, Garry Kelley sponsored the event and says the spritzers are a big hit this year. "Well I really believe the spritzers from Argentina...the new age spritzer that are bustier win and a white one with a twist of lime...it's kind of like a gin and tonic"
This year the different beverages were all being judged to see which is really the Best in the West.
