The scores are in and Nebraska students scored higher in math and reading than in previous years.
Nebraska State Accountability or NeSA test scores for Nebraska students have significantly improved.
Nearly 75% of students met or exceeded the state reading standards this year compared to only 68% in 2010.
Scottsbluff Public Schools also improved in several subjects of the test.
Scottsbluff Public School Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Mike Mason says, "We're pleased with our results for the most part. We have a few areas that we still need work on. Math we didn't see as much improvement as we'd like to see so we've got some work ahead of us."
Parents can soon expect to receive a report on their child's scores from their local school district.
