The arraignment for an escaped Lincoln inmate is delayed until he can get an attorney.
31-year-old James Bannister appeared in Scottsbluff County District court yesterday without an attorney.
Judge Leo Dolbrovony advised Bannister of his right to have an attorney. The judge then appointed the public defenders office to represent him and gave him an August 31st court date.
Bannister escaped from a Lincoln jail last week and fled to Scottsbluff where he was arrested on charges of third degree arson and theft by receiving stolen property.
