New signs in Alliance aimed at increasing attraction visibility

It's now a little easier for visitors to find their way around the city of Alliance and to area attractions.

The City of Alliance recently unveiled their new wayfinding signage system.

This is the first sign system in the state utilizing the right of way signs on state highways within a town.

City officials say the new signs will help guide visitors through the city, help them find popular tourist attractions, like Carhenge and hopefully encourage people to extent their stay.

14 signs were installed during the first phase of the project and the city plans to add even more signs in the future.
