Highway 26 accident injures man

A rush hour accident sends a Scottsbluff man to the hospital.

Shortly before 5 p-m Thursday afternoon, a semi- and a GMC Jimmy collided on Highway 26.

The semi was traveling eastbound on the highway, and the GMC was attempting to cross the highway.

The GMC, driven by 70 year old Allen Ginest was totaled.

He was transported by Valley Ambulance Service, and there was no word on his condition
