Hospital restrictions lifted

Visitation restrictions at a Panhandle hospital are lifted after a recent outbreak of a contagious virus.

Regional West Medical Center is now back to regular visitation after more than a month of restricted visitation.

A local outbreak of enterovirus prompted the hospital to restrict children under the age of 15 from visiting the hospital.

Even though the restriction is lifted hospital personnel still ask that people with a cough or fever not visit other patients at the campus.
