Fischer announces veterans coalition support

Republican U.S. Senate candidate Deb Fischer has a new coalition of supporters backing her in the run for Senate.

Fischer announced in a press conference today she now has her own support of veterans with the "Veterans for Fischer" coalition.

With her new support also comes a new list of priorities such as:

- reducing the backlog of claims to the veterans administration

- and creating a better process for building VA medical facilities.

Fischer also says federal spending needs to be cut but just not the areas of defense spending or taking care of veterans
