After a week of being closed, Chadron State Park is open for business.
The threat of three massive wildfires forced park officials to close the recreation area late last week.
And for good reason, a large number of trees were burned and ground vegetation was scorched. Luckily no cabins or buildings were damaged.
Crews are cleaning the cabins and they should be available for rent early next week.
Park officials say visitors with respiratory problems should be aware of possible air quality issues, especially if wind disturbs the ashes.
