Boy Scouts from across the region put their paddling skills to the test at the annual canoe derby.
Kids of all ages show off their skills in the 39th annual Ed Dulaney Canoe Derby at the Bridgeport State Recreation Area.
The scouts whip through an obstacle course on water to earn points and determine who the top scout is.

Boy scouts leaders say the friendly competition promotes camaraderie and skill building.
