Panhandle kids spend their saturday getting "chipped", learning healthy and safe habits.
Dozens of kids joined the Scottsbluff Y.M.C.A in celebrating National Healthy Kids Day.
In addition to interactive games and healthy snacks, parents could get their children fingerprinted and logged in the Child Identification Program's database in case of an emergency.
"Our goal is to educate our children. With all the entities that we have here, all the business that are here to show them safety."
Local businesses and law enforcement also interacted with the kids, using the seat belt convincer, fire trucks and Wii -fit.
