Smith welcomes KOTA Territory war veterans in D.C.

Congressman Adrian Smith welcomes some special visitors from the panhandle that are visiting Washington D.C.

Nebraska veterans from World War II and the Korean War are visiting the nation's capital and the National World War II Memorial.

The veterans are visiting as part of an honor flight to visit military monuments and memorials in the nation's capital.

A total of fourteen veterans began their trip late last week, and for some, this is their first trip to Washington since they were active military members.
