A Chadron State College professor has been honored by the State of Nebraska for being an excellent educator.
The Nebraska State College System recently awarded Chadron State College physical and life sciences professor, Dr. Mike Leite with the NSCS teaching excellence award.
Leite has been a part of the CSC faculty for 16 years and is known for creating hands-on field activities for students.
Leite has taken on several leadership roles within the college over the years.
Chadron State has had 7 professors win the high teaching honor in the past 25 years.
