Former Gering minister found not-guilty of rape charge

A former minister from Gering accused of raping a women three times in a four-hour time frame is found not guilty today in Scotts Bluff District Court.

It took a jury 70 minutes of deliberation to render the not-guilty verdict regarding 50-year-old Guy Walton.

The first degree sexual assault charge was brought forth against Walton in January. An aggravated domestic assault charge was later dropped.
