The Hot Springs VA medical center out of South Dakota brought a plethora of VA resources to local Panhandle vets today.
The Veterans of Foreign Wars office in Scottsbluff was booming with military veterans tapping into the resources available to them by the VA.
Veterans had the opportunity to work out any issues or claims they have with the VA.
The Aging Office was there to help veterans with housing needs plus free clothing and help writing resumes.
Local Veteran, Sal Franko says, "The greatest thing I've seen today was when you filled out the forms, they're offering assistance to anyone who has drug or alcohol abuse and if you've had any mental problems in the last year or so they're offering assistance with that."
Local veterans organizers are also encouraging any females who have served in the military to register with the VA
