Nursing school students from the class of 1952 are getting together for a big reunion in the Panhandle.
8 nursing students celebrated their 60 year graduation reunion.
West Nebraska Methodist Hospital School of Nursing graduate, Merilyn Fischer says the group tries to get together as often as possible.
The ladies toured Regional West Hospital and shared their favorite memories from their career.
Fischer says,"My husband one time we got back to grand island told our neighbor I have never heard a group of women laugh so hard and I said when you eat together, study together, cry together, sleep together 3 solid years there's a bond there that's just very special."
Most of the nurses still work or volunteer their time at hospitals close to their homes.
