Monument Shadows Golf Course restaurant gets a new owner

The restaurant at Monument Shadows Golf Course in Gering now has a new owner.

Gering City Council's administrative committee recently accepted a Las Vegas woman's proposal to be the new operator of Mulligan Bluffs.

Natasha Formby will take over the restaurant in November and plans to change the name to Tavern on the Green.

Formby has more than 10 years restaurant experience and wants to make the Gering Golf course restaurant cozier.

Formby plans to serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.
