Teen sentenced for 2011 drunk driving fatality

A Scotts Bluff County District judge sentences a KOTA Territory teen for killing his friend in a drunk driving accident last summer.

Yesterday afternoon Judge Randy Lippstreu sentenced Bryan Bloom to three to eight years in prison, after finding the teen guilty of vehicular homicide earlier this summer.

Last June, Bloom was drunk driving with his friend on Highway 26 near Henry.His friend stuck his head of the window, struck a road sign, and died.

Bloom will receive credit for 347 days already served, and could serve only four years with good behavior.
