Fiber Arts Fair brings Alpaca goods

Posted: Updated:

The Valley Fiber Arts Fair was missing something this weekend, Alpacas.

Fleece, yarn, and other products that are made from alpaca fur were hot sellers at this years expo.

The Snowden Hollows Alpaca Ranch traveled from Laramie, Wyoming for the second straight year.

Ranch Co-Owner Veronica Sherwood says last year she brought alpacas to the fair, but this year she left them at home.

But the high quality, all natural product continues to be a fan favorite.

"We keep them all completely raw. There's no soap, no dyes, no additives in our fleeces or our yarn. So I try to keep them all clean and dye free for people that have allergies."

Sherwood says this is the only Fiber Arts Fair she travels to because it's close to home and a great event.
