History comes alive at a KOTA territory cemetery.
The North Platte Valley Museum and the West-Lawn Cemetery joined forces last night for a unique cemetery tour.
The historic tour includes six live actors portraying people buried there.
The Director of the North Platte Valley Museum, says the tour provides a brighter side to the cemetery.
"Well there's so many stories in cemeteries you know, you can walk along the headstones and not know the stories of the people buried there. So this brings the stories to life, literally."
One of the actresses portrayed ancestor Sara Gering, the namesake for the city.
