A Torrington judge is giving the media what it wants, freedom of the press.
The media's challenge of sealed court proceedings this summer, led district court judge, Keith Kautz to unseal court files and open hearings to the press.
That means the closed court proceedings in the case of a man accused of killing and sexually abusing a Glenrock girl, will now be open.
Kautz says it should be possible for courts to avoid identifying the victim or the suspect without limiting public access.
